Amanda Mena belted the Carole King classic “Natural Woman,” that left the judges stunned, searching for words. Judge Simon Cowell said:

“You have genuinely natural soul. You really, really do. I mean, that’s not an easy song to sing. This is an audition we’re going to remember for a long time, Amanda.”

Amanda loves her parents, Miosotis Mena Heredia and Martin Mena a lot. Mena celebrates her birthday on 16th of July that makes her age 15.

When Amanda came to America along with her family, she didn’t know English. Hence, she was bullied a lot in school, but her mother helped her in overcoming such bullies. Amanda used music as a way to escape.

Mena just sang in private for years as she was embarrassed. When her mother, Miosotis Mena overheard her, she supported and encouraged her daughter to pursue her singing dreams.

Amanda attended Cobbet Elementary School. She won season 2 of Telemundo’s La Voz Kids in 2014. She then signed a recording contract with Universal Studios afterward.
