In a country where over one million plastic surgeries are carried out to transform you into physically perfect and meet the beauty standard, model Taylor Tak stands out as an aspiring South Korean plus-size model. Also known as Taylor T, the model is an activist for size inclusivity and body positivity, being a size 14 in South Korea where being heavy is considered as a sign of societal rejection and laziness.
Tak believes in creating a revolution in South Korea’s beauty standard and inspiring other women not to hide anymore regardless of their size. The U.S. size over 6 or 7 is seen as “plus” or “heavy” in South Korea. So, will Tak be able to ensure the social acceptance for plus size in South Korea?
Being an advocate for body positivity in Korea is certainly harsh, and one has to go through body shaming and bullies most of the time. However, Tak is a living hope for most of the unsecured women in Korea. Her bold and heavy personality is worthy of accolades and applauds.
Now, let’s take an in-depth sight into Taylor Tak bio, including her age, body weight, height, family, boyfriend, and other wiki facts.

Taylor Tak Bio – Early Life & Struggles
Growing up as a bigger kid, plus-size model Taylor Tak has memories of her childhood that are especially cruel. People judged and bullied her for her plus size, and she used to feel as if she was “wearing a fat girl mask.”
Harsh comments would upset Tak’s anonymous parents, and they used to stop Tak from eating more. Her parents would inspire her to be conscious of her weight and size. At the age of 10, Tak joined a “diet school,” where she would work out and eat less than 1,000 calories per day for months. However, other kids at the school never stopped bullying her.
To work at a Subway restaurant, Tak had to run laps against a stopwatch to prove she was fit enough. She even admitted to trying diet pills, seriously considered liposuction, and waste time photoshopping all of her pictures. She was also berated by higher-ranking workers while doing a coveted government job. They would make fun of her heavyweight and asked if she’d ever get married to someone “at that weight.”

Are you ready for winter in Korea❄️? One day, a photographer noticed Tak in London and said she should be a model. Feeling inferior to her size and weight, she declined the proposal. Later, she decided to give modeling a try. And now, she has quite a few big names on her resume. She found self-love and stands out as an advocate for body positivity in Korea where the fashion market is quite uniformly conservative.
In an interview, Tak gushed about her mission, saying:
“I want us plus-size women in Korea to rise up and dare to say it — dare to say that we accept ourselves.”
Taylor Tak Boyfriend or Married?
Tak is still unmarried and has yet to experience motherhood. She even seems to be single as her social accounts and interviews are impotent on suggesting her possible affair or boyfriend.
However, Tak once gushed about a boy to her mother, and she told:
“Don’t trust him. He might want something from you. No man here appreciates fat girls for pure love.”
“That was my mom’s advice. But then again, I don’t blame her. Some people here really hate fat women. It’s not that they don’t like them — they hate them.”
It looks like Tak has taken her mother’s advice to heart. It’s hard for her to trust a man all because of her size. However, Tak has still hope and believes that she would eventually find a man who would respect her size and the inner soul.
We are excited for the day when Tak will announce or introduce her boyfriend to the people.
