Cheslie Kryst Early Career to Miss USA 2019

Kryst started her pageantry career in 2017. She competed in Miss North Carolina USA 2017 and ended being the fourth runner-up. The following year, she returned to the competition and placed in the top ten. But she took home the coveted title of Miss North Carolina USA 2019 after winning the competition.

As a Miss North Carolina USA, Kryst represented North Carolina at the Miss USA 2019 competition, held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. She won the competition, besting first runner-up Alejandra Gonzalez of New Mexico and second runner-up Triana Browne of Oklahoma. She became the third woman from North Carolina to win the title, following Miss USA 2005 Chelsea Cooley and Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton.

Kryst is also the founder of “White Collar Glam,” a lifestyle blog that shares workwear fashion for women. As Miss USA 2019, she will represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2019 competition later this year.

Born in the year 1991 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Cheslie Kryst grew in Columbia, South Carolina. She celebrates her birthday on April 28 that makes her age 28. She was born to an Italian father and an Irish mother. Her mother, April Simpkins competed in pageants’ competition too. She comes from a big family as she has five siblings: two brothers – Akay and Chandler Kryst and two sisters – Page and Renee.

Her mother, April won the Ms. Petite North Carolina Contest, intended for women of 5 foot 5 inches and under in 1997. She went on to become Mrs. North Carolina US pageant system in 2002.

Kryst graduated cum laude and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina Honors College. She obtained Master’s and Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University. During her free time, she loves playing piano, walking in fashion shows and hiking.
