Former San Francisco 49er and founder of Kuiu and Sitka Gear, Jason Hairston has died following a hunting trip with President’s son, Donald Trump Jr. at the age of 47. He was a member of the Trump administration.

Hairston’s company – KUIU – confirmed his death, saying:

We are “shocked and saddened” by his death

Days before the death, Hairston had been hunting sheep with Trump Jr. in Canada. According to the reports, he died because of CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy), suffered during his football days. In a 2016 interview, he told he believed he had CTE.

Former league players including Junior Seau, Aaron Hernandez, and Frank Gifford had also died because of CTE.

Jason Hairston was born on 17th July 1971. He died aged 47. He grew up in Orange County, CA along with his brother and father. Nothing has been disclosed about Hairston’s mother.
