The British television series Cleaning Up premiered on the ITV with its first episode on 7th January 2019. The story is based on a single mother, Sam who is trapped inside the addiction toward online gambling. Her ex-husband threatens her for the custody of their children and has a debt collector knocking the door of her house. Jade’s mother was originally from Trinidad whereas her father was from Jamaica. Her parents played a crucial part in inspiring her toward acting. She was raised in the Bexleyheath, and she went to Grammar School in Bexel, London. As Jade was one of the few black students, she was transferred to a school in Lewisham for the sixth grade.
From an early age, Jade was involved in athletics. Her mother insisted her on doing different activities during the weekend. So, she went to Saturday School, an art school in Dartford, Kent. She also received a scholarship to the National Youth Theatre while at sixth form.
The now 28-year-old actress went to the Guildford School of Acting. Royal Shakespeare Company hired her after she completed her graduation. There, she bagged a postgraduate award in teaching Shakespeare.

Jade started to shine in the film industry since 2007. She made her stage debut in Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad in 2007. Three years later, in 2010, she appeared in Halmat as Ophelia at Shakespeare’s Globe, which earned her Ian Charleson Award in 2011.
She then appeared in Doctor Who in 2013, Chewing Gum in 2015, and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man in 2016. But her career got a breakthrough after she appeared in the TV series Trauma in 2018.
