Eddie Van Halen died on 6 October 2020 at the age of 65. He was fighting with cancer for many years as he was diagnosed with it in the year 2009. His son officially announced the death through his twitter account. Previously, in the year 2000, he was diagnosed with tongue cancer, but after removing a part of his tongue, Eddie was declared cancer-free in 2002. 

Lastly, he couldn’t fight with his throat cancer and had to leave this world, leaving great footsteps behind him. However, details about his funeral are yet to be announced by his family members.

He died at the age of 65 on 6 October 2020 due to cancer.
